We continue today with sheriff Bart slowly trotting toward the center of town. The citizens are agape as he gets off his horse and walks to the platform. He pulls the welcome sign back down and ascends the stairs. As he reaches the podium, he utters the famous line, "'Scuse me while I whip this out!" The townsfolk scream before realizing he's just getting out the order signed by the governor. As he reads his appointment, he becomes well aware that most of the men in town are cocking their guns and taking aim. As Bart finishes reading the order, Revered Johnson holds up the bible and demands they all pay heed to the Good Book and what it says. Someone shoots out the center of the Bible and all Reverend Johnson can do is turn to Bart. With a cocked eyebrow he says, "Son, you're on your own."

Fr. David Mowry is a Roman Catholic priest of the Diocese of Joliet in Illinois and teaches as professor of homiletics and preaching at Mundelein Seminary. He is the chaplain of the Movies-by-Minutes community and has made guest appearances on Star Wars Minute, Indiana Jones Minute, DC Cinematic Minute, Bat Minute Returns, The Shining 2:37 Podcast, and Mean Girls Minute. For years he was fascinated by the VHS cover of Young Frankenstein before his parents ever let him see it. It was totally worth the wait.
